The decision was made, but which model? The standard Impreza Uk model was quick enough but the thought of a Japanese model with an extra 30 or so bhp was an even better platform to start modifying. Any MY93 WRX was purchased.
Over the next 2 years this car was extensively modified (both inside and out), and used as a test bed for all products we use on circuits throughout the UK and on the roads.
This testing gave us a great foundation to build on. You'd be surprised at the amount of products tested failed to make the grade.
